How to respond to the consultation

RESPOND BY 29TH JULY!!!!!

It is critical that everyone who has an opinion on HS2 responds to the consultation. This is the ONLY official way to have your say on the HS2 proposals. We have prepared some information to help you.

Even if you have already written to your MP or HS2 Ltd. you still need to respond.

The consultation comprises of 7 questions. You can use the DfT form (paper or online) to answer each question and provide reasons for your answers and alternatives where possible. You could also write a general response or a covering letter and state clearly that you wish for it to be included as part of your official response to the consultation

We believe the questions are carefully loaded in the Government’s favour so give your answers some thought.

Please encourage your friends and family to take part in the consultation too.  It is particularly important that the Government receives responses from across the country, not just from those directly along the route.  Please also ask them to write to their MP.
