Boris Johnson wrote for the Sunday Telegraph today about why he can’t support the government’s proposal for HS2 as it stands.
He specifically mentioned the elevated section in Hillingdon, a part of the route that passes within metres of schools and lots of family homes at bedroom height and will probably be within many existing gardens.
He recently sent a letter to Lottie Jones of Ruislip Against HS2 confirming his support.
